Certificate Explorer – Terms & Conditions

These Certificate Explorer Terms & Conditions ("Explorer Terms") govern the access and use of the Crypken Certificate Explorer service ("Explorer", "Service"). By accessing, viewing, or using the Certificate Explorer, you agree to be bound by these Explorer Terms in addition to Crypken's general Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Certificate Explorer Services

The Crypken Certificate Explorer provides the following services:

• Digital certificate viewing and display
• Blockchain verification and validation
• Certificate download capabilities (PDF and PNG formats)
• Multi-language certificate support
• Certificate authenticity verification through blockchain technology

Each certificate displayed represents a cryptographically secured digital record anchored on Crypken's blockchain infrastructure.

2. Certificate Verification and Validation

2.1 Verification Process

• The Explorer verifies certificate authenticity by checking blockchain records
• Verification confirms the existence and integrity of the certificate on the blockchain
• Verification does not validate the underlying qualifications, achievements, or events represented by the certificate

2.2 Verification Status

Certificates may display one of the following verification statuses:

• Verified on Blockchain: Certificate record exists and matches blockchain data
• Not Verified: Certificate record cannot be confirmed on the blockchain
• Verifying: Verification process is in progress

2.3 Transaction Hash

Verified certificates display a blockchain transaction hash (txId) as proof of immutability and authenticity.

3. Access and Certificate IDs

3.1 Certificate Access

• Access to certificates requires a valid Certificate ID
• Certificate IDs are provided by the issuing organization or authority
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Certificate IDs
• Unauthorized access or sharing of Certificate IDs may violate privacy and security policies

3.2 Certificate Not Found

If a certificate cannot be found:

• The Certificate ID may be incorrect or invalid
• The certificate may have been issued but not yet synchronized with the Explorer
• The certificate may have been issued by a different certification system

4. Certificate Downloads

4.1 Download Formats

The Explorer allows certificate downloads in the following formats:

• PDF (Portable Document Format)
• PNG (Portable Network Graphics)

4.2 Download Usage

• Downloaded certificates are for personal use and verification purposes only
• Users must not alter, modify, or manipulate downloaded certificates
• Misrepresentation or fraudulent use of certificates is strictly prohibited

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Crypken shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to the fees paid (if any) for accessing the specific certificate
• Crypken is not responsible for loss of data or access, third-party reliance on certificates, decisions made based on certificate information, or damages arising from service interruptions

6. Prohibited Uses

Users must not:

• Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise the Explorer's security
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest certificate data
• Misrepresent, alter, or forge certificates
• Use the Explorer for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
• Share Certificate IDs of others without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer the blockchain verification system

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Explorer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Crypken does not guarantee the legal validity or acceptance of certificates. Recognition of certificates depends on the policies of third parties, regulators, or institutions.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Explorer Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the Explorer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
